Waking Up
Hi, friend,
I hope spring is treating you well. It’s definitely spring-like here in the PNW, meaning that the weather changes every hour. It’s cloudy, it’s sunny, it’s windy and raining. The days are longer and it’s light out now when I head out from the day job, which is a relief after the darker months. And I’m waking up.
Seriously.
I’ve been absent here for a couple of months. I discovered around the time of my previous post while at the coast that I might have sleep apnea. And here I was thinking the autoimmune arthritis had caused my deep fatigue and inability to focus. Well, according to the home sleep test the doc gave me, I stopped breathing on average 48 times an hour. Now I’m falling in love with my brand new CPAP machine and celebrating actually breathing at night.
If you think you might have an issue, please get it checked out if you’re able. Not sleeping is awful. Oxygenation is awesome.
Just shy of a month with decent sleep, I’m writing new words again—both here and on the latest novel. There will be new stories soon.
Wishing you deep breaths and nourishing rest,
Leslie
